Installation instructions rubber expansion joints

To ensure optimum functionality and durability of the BOA rubber expansion joints, these must be installed correctly. This means at the minimum:
- Using correct fixed point and pipe guides
- Omitting torsion during installation and during operation
- Protecting the rubber bellow against contamination and damages
- Tightening the flange bolts in the correct way

When selecting a suitable expansion joint, many critical factors need to be taken into account. Think of the use of the correct bellows material, the appliance of pre-tension and the use of correction factors for pressure and temperature.
